Our Mission
DPF's mission is to support and uplift children and families through sports, recreation, fitness, and opportunities to play. Our work includes offering free programs in Title-I schools and low-income communities, assisting in covering the costs of sports and rec programs, and offering sports camp scholarships.
Further, DPF works to improve the lives of children and families, strengthen neighborhood ties, and build community through recreation, sports, and opportunities to play. In addition, we work to support and uplift children and families who have lost a primary caregiver, by providing resources, and making connections with additional support providers in their communities.
